This project explores the design of a magazine concept focused on Portland’s food culture. The objective was to create an editorial layout that appealed specifically to local food enthusiasts by emphasizing place, lifestyle, and visual energy.
The layouts combine food photography with imagery of the Portland landscape to create vibrant, engaging compositions that draw readers in. Content centered on topics such as sushi and healthy eating, with design decisions supporting clarity, rhythm, and visual variety throughout the publication. This project was developed as part of an academic assignment using a fictional client brief.
